If there is a problem with a part supplied by Quick-Spares, please contact us so we can assess the issue and help arrange an appropriate resolution.
This policy explains how to request assistance and distinguishes change-of-mind returns from remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Your consumer rights
Our goods come with consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law where that law applies. These rights cannot be excluded by this policy, an individual quote or a manufacturer’s warranty.
For a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement. For other failures, the available remedy depends on the circumstances and applicable law. You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
A business purchase may also be covered by consumer guarantees, depending on the circumstances.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect parts
Contact us if a supplied part:
- Is faulty or damaged.
- Does not match the agreed description.
- Is different from the item confirmed in your order.
- Does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
Please provide your invoice or order reference, a description of the issue and relevant photographs. We may request further information or a reasonable assessment to determine the cause and appropriate remedy.
If continuing to use the part could be unsafe or cause further damage, stop using it and seek suitable professional advice.
How to request a return
Email info@quick-spares.com.au with:
- Your name and invoice or order reference.
- The part number or description.
- The reason for the request.
- Photographs and any relevant installation or assessment information.
Please contact us before dispatching the item so we can provide the correct return address and handling instructions. This process does not remove any statutory rights.
Do not send returns to an address listed elsewhere on the website unless we have confirmed it is the correct return location.
Change-of-mind returns
Please choose carefully and review the quoted part details before ordering.
Change-of-mind returns require our written agreement. If accepted, we will confirm the return conditions, any applicable charges and the refund arrangements before you return the item.
Items accepted for a change-of-mind return must be unused, uninstalled and in saleable condition, with their original packaging where reasonably available.
Special orders and dedicated imports
Special-order parts and items imported specifically for your request are not accepted for change-of-mind returns unless we agree otherwise in writing.
This restriction does not apply where you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
Compatibility and installation
If a part appears unsuitable, contact us before installation wherever possible.
The assessment will take account of the information you provided, the product description and any advice or suitability representations we made.
Installation alone does not automatically remove your consumer rights. However, damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or an unrelated fault may affect the remedy available for that damage.
Return freight and refunds
Responsibility for return freight depends on the reason for return and your legal rights. Where we are responsible for reasonable return costs under applicable law, we will arrange or reimburse those costs.
For an agreed change-of-mind return, return freight and any agreed charges will be confirmed in writing.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payer, normally using the original payment method where available. We will confirm the expected processing time when the refund is approved.
